WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG Federal IT Security Team is looking to hire a Data Protection Engineer. This individual will be responsible for the Data Protection (DP) technical portfolio at BCG Federal.

The Data Protection Engineer is an integral role in the overall information security strategy and works with various teams inside BCG Federal (Risk, Legal, HR and IT) and will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of DP Services and Capabilities.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

* Developing/maintaining technical controls to appropriately manage the data lifecycle to ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

* Managing, in close partnership with the SISO, the strategic technical roadmap for DP within BCG Federal

* Managing/identifying /drivingDP modernization, rationalization and transformation strategy from the technical perspective

* Conducting proof of concept activities, delivery and technical solutions assessments as needed

* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the security industry as it relates to BCG Federal including:

* Standards, regulations and legislation (e.g. NIST 800-171, CMMC)

* Threats and vulnerabilities

* Technologies and solutions

* Industry best practices

* Client requirements and concerns

* Ensuringproper incident escalation process in collaboration with the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)

* Developing and produce operational metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of controls in order to discover and discern trends, threats, and security risks associated with information, leaving BCG through unapproved and unauthorized means

* Additional projects as needed
