JOB DESCRIPTION:

Broadcom is seeking a high caliber and energetic contracts administrator with excellent attention to detail, a willingness to dive in and master company systems, and persistence. You will work closely with Broadcom s corporate compliance and sales teams to complete a variety of tasks critical to maintaining compliance with public sector contract requirements and supporting public sector sales functions. This role is located in Herndon, Virginia.

Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering on-time sales reports, vendor fees, and other required filings for U.S. federal, state, and local government agencies. You will be responsible for maintaining public sector representations and certifications and information-gathering exercises to support completion of customer questionnaires and responses to RFPs. You will report to the Associate General Counsel, U.S. Public Sector and Canada and help Broadcom s business teams negotiate and manage standard agreements. Eventually, this role is expected to include negotiation and drafting of contracts associated with software licensing, SaaS, and related professional services.

Requirements

Excellent judgment, proactivity, and willingness to ask for guidance to address compliance matters and information requests

Ability and persistence to network and track down information within the company in a timely manner

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a broad audience including engineering, marketing, sales, and finance professionals

Ability to quickly learn company policies and procedures and navigate company financial systems

Ability to multitask, prioritize work load and competing priorities

Demonstrates strong attention to detail

Efficient, effective and well organized

Customer service oriented

Willingness to travel to other Broadcom sites as needed

Additional Traits/Qualifications

Must be business-minded and ready to roll up sleeves and do what is necessary to get the job done well

Work effectively within all levels of the organization

2-5 years of relevant professional contract management experience

Experience with government contracting tasks such as completion of representations and certifications, preparing small business subcontracting plans, and implementing compliance processes are a plus.
