Job Description:

PSI Water Technologies, Inc. (PSI), a subsidiary of UGSI Solutions, Inc., is a leader in water disinfection technologies for municipal clients. UGSI Solutions, Inc., through its various operating subsidiaries, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure market, with a portfolio of proprietary and patented technologies targeting water and wastewater treatment, including on-site hypochlorite generation equipment, polymer activation systems, chemical feed systems, and potable water mixing and treatment systems.

PSI is seeking candidates for multiple Project Manager positions at all levels of experience from entry-level to highly experienced. The Project Manager will be responsible for resource planning, project delivery management, oversight, and all technical activities required to assure project scope accuracy and quality from sales kickoff to completion. This role requires a balance between technical and managerial business skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with customer-centric personality, strong communication skills, and MS Office proficiency. A preference will be provided to those that have been directly involved in developing technical support for similar products lines in the municipal or industrial market and have had applications engineering, project engineering, or project management experience with other closely related technologies. This position is based in Milpitas, CA, but certain qualified candidates can also choose to work from locations in Poway, CA, North Wales, PA, or Vineland, NJ.

Essential Job Functions:
--Responsible for the overall planning, management, quality, and completion of system deployments within schedule and budget constraints.
--Review and manage project constraints on cost, time, scope, and quality.
--Identify resource requirements, meet training needs, and define project deliverables.
--Review and select materials and equipment that comply with component specification documents.
--Work with customers/agents and construction companies to prepare technical submittal documents, project materials, and project plans.
--Prepare project bill of materials and all documentation needed for equipment fabrication.
--Prepare project Operation and Maintenance manuals including detailed step by step operations and troubleshooting guides.
--Ensure effective communications and relationships between customer(s) and project team members are maintained.
--Provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures.
--Compliance with PSIs safety and personal protective equipment policies since customer sites may allow exposure to dangerous or hazardous conditions.
--Occasional travel to customer sites to complete tasks.
--Willingness to travel and work under a variety of weather extremes.
--Have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR will be run regularly).
--Availability to work 40 hours per week, scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
--Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
--Bachelors Degree in construction management, engineering (mechanical/chemical/civil/environmental), or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
--Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel.
--Strong written and verbal communication skills.
--Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision.
--Excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
--Experience in the municipal water and/or wastewater industries.
--Five or more years experience managing the implementation and support of projects with some element of construction (not applicable for entry-level applicants).
--Experience as a project manager or project engineer (not applicable for entry-level applicants.
--Experience in mechanical design (not applicable for entry-level applicants).
--Familiarity with 2D AutoCAD, Great Plains ERP, Salesforce software.
--Ability to read, interpret, and redline construction drawings, including mechanical, process, and electrical.

Physical Demands:
--Ability to sit for long periods of time.
--Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
--Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
--Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
--Ability to look at computer monitors for much of the workday.

Work Environment:
--At least 65% Office.
--Up to 5% Light Industrial.
--Up to 30% Customer Jobsites
--May be exposed to a variety of weather elements as well as areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities.
--Exposure to liquid and dry chemicals and substances associated with water and wastewater treatment, including permanganate, polymers, sodium hypochlorite, and liquid ammonium sulfate, among others.
--Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
