The Sr. Customer Marketing Manager, KIND DC plays a critical role across the KIND designated categories team, with branches into both MW, Mars Ice Cream and KIND HQ. Through independent work and by collaborating cross functionally the Sr CMM will help create strong innovation & execution plans that enable the KIND brand to grow in new and existing categories across the Better For You space. This associate will be expected to play large roles in customer strategies, category investigation, selling story creation, market execution and measurement. The Sr CMM will act as both voice of the customer inward, and as voice of the brand & category, occasionally customer facing. As a senior resource on the team, this associate owns areas of high complexity and significant business impact.  In addition, they will be expected to take on visible leadership responsibilities within the team. In partnership with the sales director this role will enable high level stakeholder alignment across KIND DC, MW SLT, IC LT KIND LT. This associate must have very strong business acumen, ability to deal with ambiguity creativity and the desire to learn on the fly. In addition, this associate must have a personal passion for developing within the better for you space. 

What We are Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree

7+ years of Field Sales/Internal Sales/Marketing

Experience in Sales Planning & Operations, Account Management, Marketing, and/or Category Management

Major customer experience 

Cross-functional partnership

What Would Be Your Key Responsibilities:

•    Provide strong, fact based recommendations on future innovation, including pricing, shelving, value proposition, and work to provide sales facing tools to gain retailer alignment

•    Develop brand/channel AMPS+ (assortment, merchandising, pricing, shelving, and digital) strategies, along with tools and plans for execution of those deliverables across the KIND DC brand

•    Move seamlessly between future innovation and in market activation to forecast, track, and improve in market positioning  

•    Navigate informal and formal networks to establish strong meaningful collaborative relationships across multiple business segments (Mars Inc, Mars Ice Cream, MW, KIND HQ), spanning many levels

•    Work closely with MW & IC Customer Marketing to ensure KIND DC falls within required timelines and expectations for all planning activities 

•    Deliver ad hoc projects as the needs of the business shift
