The Work You’ll Do:

A hallmark of a great programs marketer is that they are able to wear many hats and juggle projects, campaigns, and focus company initiatives at the same time. They also possess the knowledge to execute campaigns that employ tactics that include digital marketing, events, email marketing, social media, webinars, PR, and Analyst reports.

As a Marketing Programs Specialist at Sovos, you will act as the primary driver to execute integrated marketing campaigns that support the various business goals identified in the annual operating plan (AOP). You will be responsible for ideating, facilitating creation and execution of campaigns that drive growth (demand generation) expansion (upsell), promote customer retention, and increase brand recognition for Sovos’ Tax and Regulatory Reporting line of business.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and drive end to end integrated, multi-touch, multi-channel campaign execution for demand generation, upsell, and customer retention using a variety marketing tools and strategies as well as by partnering with the Sovos Brand Marketing team
  • Manage events strategy for the Tax and Regulatory Reporting (TRR) line of business by identifying and assisting in execution of hosted and sponsored events to ensure there is cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based-selling to promote upsell as well as customer retention
  • Partner with the Director, Field Marketing to track budgets, forecast, measure, analyze, and report on program impact
  • Acquire a deep understanding of Sovos’ sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution, and sales opportunity acceleration.

What We’re Looking for from You:

  • 2+ years of professional experience focused in B2B marketing
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales
  • Inbound and Outbound marketing strategy/execution experience, digital experience preferred
  • Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Named Account Marketing experience
  • Ability to align tactical plans with strategies and produce results on time and within budget
  • Able to market to a range of B2B buyers using a variety of offers (e.g. white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (email, telephone, direct mail, etc.)
  • Proven experience with Salesforce.com
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a variety of new technology tools in Sovos’ Mar-tech stack that includes: Marketo, WebEx Events, SalesLoft
  • Due to clients with federal contracts – the successful candidate will have to clear a background check and drug test
