Program Outreach Associate

Job Summary:

The Program Outreach Assistant (POA) is a flexible, part-time position that allows the employee to meet personal or education-related demands while completing fulfilling work in the Energy Efficiency industry. The primary objective of a POA is to visit small and medium-sized buildings and rapidly collect important business and facility information using Lime’s proprietary software and company-provided equipment. This data is used to better target regional Energy Efficiency opportunities in our utility programs such that free energy assessments result in more projects, and ultimately, greater environmental impact.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete Lime’s Field Data Collector 1-day training (paid)


• Visit 25-50 facilities per day depending on list provided


• Use smartphone with provided survey software along with company-provided equipment to rapidly collect approximately 5-10 data points on business information and lighting systems


• Communicate data collection effort to business employees when asked, along with details of utility program and how to schedule a free energy assessment


• Transmit data on day of collection, with accurate work date, work time and drive time


• Provide support for program marketing activities on an as-needed basis, such as lead generation and energy assessment scheduling

Qualifications:

• Self-starter who likes to work independently and enjoys a challenge


• Prior work experience preferred, especially related to energy auditing, commercial lighting, facility management, or site surveys


• Good communication skills to discuss our utility program when asked


• Ability to use smartphone apps and provided equipment with ease


• Valid unsuspended driver’s license with satisfactory record required


• Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week

Education, Training & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Some college or other high education preferred.


• Lime training required prior to starting in the field.
