Job Description:

We are currently hiring for the Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant assists with the company's accounting functions adhering to established accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Primary responsibilities include payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field or in a related area.
• Requires a good understanding of Accounting, Project Control, Contracts, Finance, and Business.
• Multi-state payroll
• CostPoint Accounting software or something similar
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written) skills and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks.
• Ability to work independently; must be a self-starter.
• Must possess strong organizational skills.
• Experienced with multiple contracts types including: Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Price Level of Effort, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of FAR and DFAR Regulations preferred.
