The Retail Team Leader is responsible for processing, collection, stocking, and sale of used goods. The Retail Team Leader will serve as a model for the Production Clerk I in guiding and providing direction.
Essential Job Functions:
Displays great customer service by greeting donors and customers; offers assistance.
Offers receipts and informational fliers as set by operating guidelines.
Keeps areas clean, including inside and outside grounds around store and ADC’s.
Operates cash register.
Sorts material as required and stocks material in stores.
Maintains categories and quality of goods.
Rotates stock as needed.
Prices material when instructed to do so.
Works on rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Executes the above duties to meet objective standards set for a Retail Team Leader.
Assists in providing direction and modeling of job duties to other Production Clerks.
Opens and closes store in absence of Manager or Assistant Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reports To: Retail Manager.
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic math skills, ability to make change, complete paperwork in a timely manner.
May be delegated supervisory authority when operating store in the absence of Manager or Assistant Manager.
May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).
Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, works with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift/carry 30 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
