The Business Development Director must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. This employee will assume a leadership role in developing and nurturing professional relationships with health care executives, physicians, and insurance providers.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop business plans through research and analysis of market data
* Relationship development and training of team members
* Maintain a safe work environment by complying with applicable rules, regulations, and procedures for safety management
* Accept directives
* Follow all company policies and procedures
* Strategic thinking with persuasive negotiation skills to achieve prescribed goals
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce software
Education and Experience:
* Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Health Care Administration, Marketing; or experience in the clinical field preferred
* 3 to 5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience required
Physical Demands:
The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. The work environment will include company corporate office and client sites in hospitals, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient health care clinics (OSHA Risk Category Ill).
