Job Summary:

* As the Patient Safety Attendant (PSA), you will participate in high-quality, patient-centered care by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high risk patients.

* In collaboration with the patient care team, you ensure the patient environment is free of obstacles and minimizes risk of falls and accidental or intentional self-harm.

* You may also assist with basic activities of daily living.

* You will act as a role model for care delivery and demonstrate WE CARE Values in all Actions.

* You will demonstrate excellent customer service.

Redmond Regional Medical Center is a 230 bed facility, serving as a referral source for all of northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama. QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED

* BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment

* 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

* De-Escalation Training must completed within 90 days of hire date
