R&D Engineer, Sr II

As a member of the device simulation group in TCAD, design and implement new models and numerical techniques for superconducting Josephson junction device simulation using C/C++. Responsibilities also include testing, calibrating, documenting, and supporting the use of newly developed features and contributing to product planning by identifying new modeling trends. A successful candidate should be able to quickly become an expert in new simulation approaches and to develop robust, maintainable, and efficient code
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Physics, EE, or relevant field with 3+ years developing TCAD or other simulation software
- Proficient in C/C++; experience developing at least one large, complex C/C++ application is desirable
- Experience with data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming
- Experience in modeling transport in semiconductors or superconductors
