We are looking for a talented and creative Copywriter to work within our Brand and Creative team.

Join the team that acts as a mini, in-house agency for Manhattan Associates' global creative needs. The members of this tight-knit team have diverse backgrounds with expertise in television writing, advertising, long-form whitepaper creation, podcast scripting, and more.

Strong candidates for this role will bring a distinct personality and storytelling ability to the table while maintaining our existing brand voice guidelines at all times. She/he will collaborate extensively with project teams to complete jobs and be expected to remain flexible and creative throughout the process of brainstorming, concepting, production, revisions, proofing and approval. Also key to this role is an ability to learn highly complex technologies, interview subject matter experts, and translate industry jargon into conversational, impactful prose. This role will also work in collaboration with our Marketing Communications team to craft Press Releases, thought leadership articles, case studies, and other outward-facing strategic communications.

Job Responsibilities:
o Follow and champion our brand and desired personality. In time, evolve and enforce brand standards around tone, personality and writing style.
o Ensure that all written materials position the brand for high visibility, professionalism, and awareness with customers, partners, trade associations, outside vendors and media audiences.
o Create copy and/or tell excellent stories-across any global department of the company
o Meet deadlines, work proactively, collaborate, work quickly and mitigate risks
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field
o 1-3+ years of experience across media, print and digital. Agency or technology background is a plus.
o Solid research skills
o Experienced in self-managing deadlines
o Experience with interviewing subject matter experts in technology/technical fields
o Experience working collaboratively with a design team
o Strong, proactive, decision-making skills
o Proofreading ability
