Job Description:

Tro Manufacturing Co in Franklin Park, IL is looking for a Quality Inspector for a 1st shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate quality problems and initiate, recommend or provide solutions for these problems


• Helps train all personnel in both the need for and application of quality techniques


• Audits any inspections performed by manufacturing personnel, check results, technique, and application


• Participates in quality meetings, presents data, helps develop employee participation in meetings


• Calculate, produce and interpret X bar and R charts. Use these charts to control process through interaction with personnel in other departments.


• Perform variable and attribute inspection of parts using instruments such as; micrometer, vernier, dial indicator, height gauge, protractor, thickness gauges, thread gauges, plug and ring gauges, comparator and coordinate measuring machine.


• Uses control charts, graphs and other forms of statistical analysis to alert other departments to problems or potential problem areas, and then uses the same data to arrive at a solution.

• 2+ years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, and/or apprenticeship


• Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor


• Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
