Job Description:

A Nationally recognized acute care hospital located in New Jersey is currently searching for an experience Clinical Dialysis Director to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Clinical Dialysis Director will work within a unit comprised of hemodialysis beds that is responsible for caring for patients daily. The Dialysis unit provides chronic and acute hemodialysis for in-patient and nursing home patients on-site at the medical facility. The Inpatient Dialysis department also has the ability to perform bedside procedures through the use of a portable hemofiltration unit.

The Clinical Dialysis Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and evaluating the nursing standards of practice and departmental quality within the Inpatient Dialysis unit. The Clinical Dialysis Director will be supported by an advanced team of clinical professionals and will be expected to interact with the staff and senior leadership to establish the philosophy and goals of the Inpatient Dialysis department. The Clinical Dialysis Director will work to ensure effective planning of staff to guarantee safe patient care. The Nursing Director of Inpatient Dialysis should also demonstrate adequate knowledge of legal, regulatory, and union requirements for service.
