A fantastic opportunity with a growing acute care hospital to become the RN Assistant Director Emergency Services has just opened in North Texas.  

This acute care hospital provides Primary Care, Emergency Care, Urgent Care, Outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy, Swing Bed/Skilled Nursing, Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation, full range of imaging services, Bone Density, High complexity lab testing, Hematology/Oncology, Orthopedic, and OB/GYN services, just to name a few! Working directly with the Director of Emergency Services, the RN Assistant Director Emergency Services will manage Emergency Department nurses / staff, Trauma nurses / staff, and EMS staff. The RN Assistant Director Emergency Services will lead / participate in Multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with the management of the quality process for the departments.

The RN Assistant Director Emergency Services will help maintain the overall productivity and quality of the Emergency Services Department as well as other departments within the hospital. They will follow all safety rules and regulations and perform necessary duties in times of Code or Emergencies. The RN Assistant Director Emergency Services participates in continuing education and attends all required meetings, while demonstrating an ability to learn and adapt to the day to day changes in the hospital. This will allow the RN Assistant Director to contribute to the harmonious and team oriented atmosphere that this hospital takes pride in providing. 

The RN Assistant Director Emergency Services will be responsible for completing monthly schedules and ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed. They will work with the director to identify and resolve departmental deficiencies and implement plans to resolve those issues. The Assistant Director will represent the Trauma and Emergency Programs on various hospital and community committees to enhance and foster optimal trauma / emergency care management. The RN Assistant Director Emergency Services will work on policy and procedures to keep them up to date and ensure that they meet or exceed all local, state, and national regulations.
