ELS is hiring for the position of Front Desk Clerk / Gatehouse Attendant - Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort in Clermont, Florida.

The Front Desk Clerk / Gatehouse Attendant position will include greeting guests as they arrive, answering resort questions, making reservations, collecting payments and walking or riding the grounds for site checks. The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to guest safety and happiness.

Your job will include:

• Create a welcoming environment for all guest and visitors to the resort


• Ensure guest receive accurate information and courteous service


• Monitor all incoming guests through the resort entry gate and validate if access is permitted.


• Make resort reservations via phone or in person, check guest in and out, issue parking passes.


• Communicate and create work orders for maintenance staff


• Perform site checks and meter readings


• Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems. Ensure that guests comply with resort rules and contact law enforcement if necessary.

Skills & experience you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Basic reading, writing and math skills and the ability to use computer applications.


• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.


• Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.


• Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.


• Experience working in hospitality, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.


• Must have a valid driver's license


• Ability to working weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
