The Inventory Control Analyst uses analytical methods and tools to understand, predict, improve and/or control inventory operations and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to collect, organize, and generate report data on inventory integrity, transactional accuracy, and all inventory related movement. Map and trace data from system to system to solve a given business or system problem. Document the types and structure of the business data (logical modeling).
Provide random auditing on all EDI from 3PL providers. Perform audits on data and resolves data quality issues.
Ability to identify trends and anomalies in areas as it relates to inventory integrity
Subject matter expert as it relates to 3PL delivery reporting
Supports creating and maintaining weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the Inventory Department that is beyond reproach related to accuracy
Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
College degree required
Minimum of 2 years logistics/Warehouse software experience working in a multi-location, retail, or sales environment
Must possess a strong financial aptitude
Power BI experience preferred
Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, specifically using functions, pivot tables, and data analysis
Experience preparing large data sets for analysis
Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department
