Job Description

The Senior Facilities Engineer will be based in Milpitas, CA and will be responsible to apply engineering principles to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Responds to service calls in all clean rooms


• Troubleshoots, responds to work orders, repairs systems and equipment in clean rooms


• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues in clean rooms.


• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance and breaks down equipment for clean up in all clean rooms


• Converses with equipment operators to ascertain problems with equipment before breakdown, and to determine if breakdown is due to human error or mechanical problems


• Will perform minor maintenance and repairs on CDA systems


• Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction


• Monitor and minor repair R/O, DI systems.


• Monitor Hazardous material and waste management


• Trouble shoot and monitor temperature and humidity controls and sensors


• Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts


• Perform minor alinments, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications


• Calibrates testing instruments


• May maintain records of repairs, calibrations and tests


• Enters information into computer to copy program from one electronic component to another, or to draw, modify or to store schematics


• Manage high pressure Gases


• Oversees emergency system backup


• Ensures plumbing, sewer, water, electrical and mechanical systems are functional
  
  

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• 6+ years of experience working on clean rooms maintenance


• Experience working with R/O, DI systems.


• Understanding of temperature and humidity sensors and controls


• Knowledge of chemical stores and management


• Familiarity with CDA clean dry air


• Awareness of nitrogen used


• US Citizen or Legal Green Card Holder.


• Able to pass ITAR Background Clearance
