The Business Development Professional will assist in driving the overall regional business development direction including region-based market intelligence, customer data & analytics and region-based demand generation activities in close coordination with the Business Development Director, North America leadership and Regional Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develops and guides the overall operation of a small business segment/unit, including creating and implementing the business plans.


• Guides operational activities on an ongoing daily basis, exercising tight cost control and maximizing price realization in the marketplace to influence profits.


• Guides projects within the business, including project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.


• Works with regional leadership to drive local campaigning and nurturing efforts


• Researches targeted accounts and qualifies prospects


• Develops new products within the business that are innovative and profitable, that meet acceptable standards for manufacturability, quality, and on time delivery.


• Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.


• Area of responsibility is primarily tactical/operational in nature, with limited strategic impact.


• Typical responsibility for innovation is to continuously enhance or improve existing policies, products, and methods.


• Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.


• Responsible for overall success of function or project.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree.


• 2 to 5 years of successful experience in a directly related field


• Experience in Warehouse Operations, 3PL, WMS, or Supply Chain related field a plus. 


• Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Able to multi-task and work in a high-growth, fast-paced and deadline driven environment successfully.


• Willingness for business travel.


• Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
