Test Engineer I at ARCTOS in Warner Robins, Georgia

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the testing and evaluation of IFF systems (interrogators, transponder, test set, crypto and other IFF equipment) at the laboratory bench level and platform integration level.  


• Develop as mentee to Senior Electrical Engineer and Government Engineers IFF Systems subject matter experts and technical leads.


• Collaborate with Government and Industries partners to develop solutions to IFF related system deficiencies.


• Participate in box and platform level test events on IFF related equipment integration.


• Manage all assigned technical project to completion.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• In depth data analysis of IFF systems.


• Ability to write technical reports, summaries and whitepapers related to IFF topics.


• Develop solutions to problems and adapt to higher level system specification.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• BA/BS Required.


• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred.


• SECRET security clearance required.


• IFF and/or Radio Frequency (RF) experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

• Office environment.


• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening; subsequent random screening per anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program requirements.

Travel:

• Travel is required to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
