Technica LLC seeks to fill the position of Installation Supply Support Activity Supervisor on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, Tx
Position Description:
Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, monitoring, reviewing and modifying efficient supply activity services to include the receipt, storage, issue, maintenance, inventory, material management and distribution of supplies within storage operations for the Fort Bliss Installation. The ISSA Supervisor will monitor and develop resolutions to storage activity support functions/issues/problems, including: resource and manpower management, Safety, security, supply acquisition and automated systems. The ISSA Supervisor has full technical and administrative responsibilities for supervision and management of the following functions: SSA management, Material Management, Stock Readiness, Storage Activities, Installation Turn-in section, Installation Turn-in section and Yard 5.
Develops, interprets, guides and assigns work to subordinates in order to assure timely and satisfactory completions of assignments.
Promotes effective and efficient utilization of logistics automated systems.
Develops performance standards for subordinates.
Leads, coordinates and performs causative research for all inventory Supply Chain matters in compliance with AR 735-5, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-2 Supply Support Activity: Supply System Manuel Procedures.
Analyze and prepare monthly warehouse data to ensure organizational effectiveness
Directs supply operations i.e. the requisitioning, receipt, issue, storage and associated inventory control of all material and supplies necessary to support contractual requirements.
Directs the operation of the reparable exchange, inventory, storage, distribution activities, and supply provisioning of the Authorized To Forecast (ATF) excess retrograde equipment and supply for turn in to DLA-DS or Depot level
Must be able to schedule and balance priorities for multiple requirements over several crucial departments.
Perform employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other
personnel reporting.
Resolves grievances and keeps employees informed on policies, personal and other management program.
Conducts inspection and reviews of all work and takes appropriate corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Ensure operations are in compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and PWS requirements.
Acts as the Contractor's on-site supervisor and POC for Government representatives.
Oversees shift work is complete for all shifts assigned to the ISSA.
Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
Review and approves timesheets.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age
Valid state driver's license
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Requirements:
Must have 2-3 years of leadership experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, AESIP, WEBSDR
Must have knowledge and experience working with an Army Supply Support Activity (SSA) and Stock Record Account (SRA).
Must have exceptional working knowledge and experience in GCSS-A Warehouse (other areas of GCSS-A not interchangeable)
Must have the ability to adapt to rapid changing requirements and short suspenses.
Must be able to schedule and balance priorities for multiple requirements over several crucial departments.
Must be available for second shift workers and times needed to ensure operations run properly.
Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
Must have excellent problem-solving skills
Must have impeccable written and verbal communication skills
