What do you get to do in this position?


  • Physical inspection of electrical equipment per Engineering records.
  • Electrically test equipment per Engineering drawings for proper function.
  • Ensure equipment is mechanically and electrically safe.
  • Submit Quality Report on tested equipment.
  • Perform Customer Inspections.
  • Calibrate and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Work unscheduled overtime to meet customer deadlines.
  • Wearing the required safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to the safety rules and regulations.
  • Remain flexible with work hours to support customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Will perform other duties as required.

This job might be for you if:


  • Troubleshoot and solve electrical and mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Understanding of elementary wiring diagram.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical component functions.
  • Programming of Drives (VFD) and its function.
  • Ability to research by computer to verify or resolve quality issues.
  • Understanding of BOM, engineering records, component spec. sheets, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Complete Electrical Safe Work Practices Training.
  • Effective time management skills.

  • Megger tester
  • Multi meter
  • Variable AC/DC power supply
  • Dielectric tester
  • Continuity test light
  • Basic hand and power tools

Education and Experience Requirements (including licenses and certifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have an A.S. Degree in IET, GET or MET.
