Position Summary
The Offline Marketing Media Planner/Buyer will be responsible for planning and buying print and direct mail for our in-house LHS Marketing agency. The ideal candidate for this position has a wide knowledge of all things Marketing, with a strong understanding of print and direct mail programs and how they support the LHS marketing objectives. This role will work alongside the Offline Marketing team (Director, Sr. Planner/Buyer, and Coordinator) to deliver tangible results across the print and direct mail programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Offline & Analytics team on print and direct mail program development and implementation


• Oversees campaign reconciliation, post-buy analysis, reporting and billing


• Research new markets and make recommendations for print and other traditional media channels


• Negotiate added value on all orders to maximize efficiency of ROI on media buys


• Troubleshoot and assist billing team with questions on media discrepancies


• Check/monitor all print and direct mail partners for quality assurance


• Proof and traffic all print and direct mail creative to vendors


• Ensure key messaging aligns with company’s vision and business strategy


• Foster relationships with media vendors/partners and their employees


• Monitor all media campaigns and report on results/issues in a timely manner


• Keep all media buys up to date in our media buying software (BluHorn)


• Monitor media buys throughout the year to ensure we are purchasing correctly (closures/budget changes)


• Balance the execution of marketing tests with a drive for results


• Propose new/missed opportunities from KPIs
  
  

Experience and Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative and/or business fields such as marketing, communications, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, and business or equivalent experience in a related field.


• 2-4 years of experience in media planning and buying


• Collaborative attitude and communicates proactively with colleagues


• Experience in buying print and direct mail


• Experience with media/agency buying tools


• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs


• Driven to meet or exceed specific goals, results-focus mindset


• Keen attention to details


• Strong research, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills required (taking concepts and ideas and translating them into solutions)


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization


• Experience in creative testing


• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
