Client Pricing Strategist

            

Edward Jones is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as Client Pricing Strategist on the Client Pricing Center of Excellence team within the Finance Division. 

The Client Pricing Strategist will be accountable for creating the roadmap for the organizations forward looking monetization strategy and a robust client pricing function within the organization, representing client pricing in BSL, Firm Program and Client Pricing sponsored project working groups while guiding the work of the Client Pricing COE direct and indirect resources to execute on the roadmap (Research, Communications, Data Analysis and other Firm Analytics analytic capabilities).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Drive and influence transformational change in our Firm's monetization strategy & evolving to adopting a robust client pricing function.

Most engagements will be Firm level and broad in impact.  Strategist will be accountable for ensuring client pricing decisions are informed by analysis/data insights, research, feasibility assessments, implications to client experience, design and communication channels.

Creation of strategic relationships with senior leaders within Marketing, Product/Solutions, Operations, Core Finance, Compliance, Change Management, Channels and Firm Analytics to ensure all stakeholders views are considered and influence pricing decisions/recommendations.  This responsibility highlights the need to work effectively in a matrixed organization relying on formal and informal decision-making authority/influence.

Adoption strategies and how design can influence those strategies are a key consideration in this role as the Firm evolves to a segmented business model. 

This role will identify opportunities and bring Client Pricing Center of Excellence sponsored work to Firm Working Group and Firm Programs through the use of narratives & challenge statements.

Create and maintain a robust client pricing function at the firm will require an ongoing gap analysis of key talent, capabilities and tools.

Identify measures of successful implementation, adoption, utilization, proficiency, and change risk mitigation in consultation with business leaders, channels and firm change team.

 

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required with emphasis in a business discipline such as finance, economics, data science, or analytics (or relevant work experience).  MBA preferred. 

7+ years of relevant work experience with direct experience in pricing a plus.

Demonstrate strategic thought leadership, championing change, and influencing decisions

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to develop approach to business questions, and ensuring decision making factors in the broader impacts

Proven decision making skills to sequence analytic & research resources to meet Firm priorities
