Job Description:

Working under the direction and guidance of the Director of Supply Chain Optimization, the Consultant assists in supply chain improvement projects and ensures expected results are achieved. While doing so the consultant will help gather data, run reports, and develop recommendations for new processes to improve efficiencies and labor savings. This role must multi-task on a daily basis and continuously flex and adjust to changing priorities.

*Communicate project status updates, schedules, risks, and changes to customer leadership concisely and consistently.

*Assists in customer supply chain processes while identifying potential improvement opportunities

*Recommend and implement solutions to simple or complex projects.

*Build effective customer relationships and work on tasks and projects with minimal supervision.*Bachelor's degree

*3 to 5 years healthcare, consulting, or engineering experience.

*Effective communication skills with various levels of employees, ranging from hourly work teams to mid-level managers to executives.

*Self starter, excellent follow-up skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Quickly adapts to new software and technology. Frequently, considered a software application expert: i.e. Warehouse Management System (WMS), Labor Management System (LMS), hospital ERP systems, etc.

*Capable of standing / walking all day within a warehousing or hospital environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

*Hospital supply chain or distribution/warehousing experience.

*Supply chain, industrial/general engineering background.

*Lean Certification and experience specific to value stream mapping, kaizen events, and workplace 5S.
