Schneider Electric Motion is a leading edge manufacturer of high precision motion control products. We are looking for a talented and eager student for our internship program who likes a challenge and is willing to learn and grow with us. This specific position will primarily assist our R&D engineering team in the following areas:

• Support modernizing SEM's drawing library to help transition legacy part files to SOLIDWORKS files


• Create drawing templates in SOLIDWORKS for future design files


• Create better organizational practices with SEM's current drawing structure


• Support prototype/production build and system checkout activities


• Write and comprehend technical documents using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualities you would possess:

• Currently enrolled in either a Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, program and have completed at least your sophomore year of school.


• Must be available Summer 2021


• Proficient skills in working with SOLIDWORKS 3D modeling software


• Familiarity with geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.


• Can do attitude and ability to get things done by overcoming obstacles and challenges


• Ability to work with a diverse team


• Excellent communication skills
