SUMMARY
The Asphalt Testing Technician is responsible for assisting the QC/QA Lab Manager in designing, organizing and implementing a quality product. This process includes but may not be limited to managing all activities related to the safe production of hot mix asphalt by maintaining a safe working environment and safe working practices in all plant operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Willing and able to achieve necessary certification in all required states.
