Job Description for Project Manager/Civil Engineering:

We are currently recruiting for the position of Project Manager/Civil Engineering at our Orange County - Irvine location.  We provide civil engineering services for public and private site development projects of all sizes. Scope of services ranges from preparing site layout plans, grading, drainage, storm water quality, sustainable design, utility improvements, and off-site street & infrastructure improvements to project management, environmental impact studies, entitlement, and ADA code compliant site assessments.

We are seeking motivated and energetic Project Manager for our Civil Engineering Group to manage and design a wide variety of projects.

Our engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project size and types for private and public sectors. The type of projects includes healthcare, higher education, K-12 schools, commercial, retail, hospitality, military, civic, industrial, parks & recreational facilities, parking structures, historic preservation, and public works.

As a Project Manager/Civil Engineering, you may be responsible for:

  Overall responsibility for management of specific projects

  
  


• 
  

  Supervise and direct project engineers and drafters

  
  


• 
  

  Primary interface with clients on project coordination and design

  
  


• 
  

  Directly responsible for the technical content and quality control on specific projects, as established with Principal-In-Charge

  
  


• 
  

  Establishing project fees, managing budget and scheduling commitments with Principal-In-Charge of the project

  
  


• 
  

  Track project cost and timing to ensure fulfillment of contract commitments and profitability

  
  


• 
  

  Also function as Project Engineer / Design Engineer on projects

  
  

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• 
  

  Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in land development, site planning, driange design, hydrology, grading, utility, roadways, parking facilities, and all other aspects of site development for a wide variety of project types.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to function effectively in teamwork environment. Ability to focus on client satisfaction

  
  


• 
  

  Proven time management skills and ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently

  
  


• 
  

  B.S. degree or higher in Civil Engineering

  
  


• 
  

  P.E. license in California

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction of major site development projects in California

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of typical computer software programs used for civil engineering design (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD, Flowmaster, etc.).
