Regional Sales Manager

OVERVIEW

Responsible for sales of Specialty Electrical Wire and Cable products in specific geographical regions and targeted customers such as Electrical contractors, consulting engineers and municipalities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure sustained sales and profit growth within the Business Unit


• Develop new customers and nurture existing to ensure service levels and growth opportunities are maximized.


• Provides pertinent information to the Business Development Manager to assist in the identification and development of new product and market opportunities


• Provide support to the Product Manager to achieve sales and profit goals


• Provide monthly reports updating customer activity, market analysis and competitor information


• Responsible solving customer complaints, taking appropriate actions to ensure customer retention


• Manage special accounts while working with existing network of representatives and distributor partners


• Provides accurate sales information to assist in forecasts and budget preparation.


• Meet or exceed all established goals and personal objectives


• Coordinates and attends trade shows and annual regional sales meetings as needed


• Trains and assists customers, consultants, and sales partners


• Perform other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• BA in related field with 5-7 years experience in sales to the Electrical Industrl


• Electrical contractor background considered as well


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills together with reasoning


• Mathematical and computer skills required

• Travel -position requires travel at60%
