MRI Technologist - Full Time Slidell Location at Capitol Imaging Services LLC in Slidell, Louisiana

Job Description:

Performs and oversees the performance of MRI procedures to include instructing and manipulating patients, selecting techniques and calibrating equipment, and obtaining and developing images.
Participates in the design and development of MRI/MRS research to include protocol, procedures, applications and operating standards, plans, schedules and coordinates experiments, clinical trials and procedures.
Plans, coordinates and conducts procedures requiring independent judgment and evaluation, selection and modification of standard scientific techniques.
Collects, analyzes and interprets data, ensuring date integrity, quality control, and compliance with protocol, provides initial analysis to researchers.
Ensures adherence to established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards.
Assists with contacting and following up with patients, tracking critical information for performance improvement, and ensuring that the reporting radiologist has all necessary information.
