Job Summary

vCORE is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer with an extensive background in public & hybrid cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), application delivery pipelines, and infrastructure architecture.

What You’ll Do


  • Support all aspects of a typical sales campaign, including discovery, design, proposal

  • Oversight of the implementation of a vast array of technologies including application design, source control, build pipelines, configuration, public cloud services, containers, and SaaS

  • Collaborate and partner with our team of Cloud Engineers, Account Managers, and vendor resources proactively.

  • Operate in client-facing settings and provide ongoing customer support
What You'll Need


  • Strong understanding and knowledge of a modern scripting language. Must have experience with one or more of the following: Python, PowerShell, Bash, & HCL, etc.

  • Experience with source control systems, build pipelines and artifact repositories, GIT, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and other similar technologies.

  • Experience working with developers and infrastructure staff to solve problems through automation

  • Experience with standard Enterprise application design and architecture concepts

  • Experience with Kubernetes, container registries, EKS, AKS, OpenShift

  • Experience with IaC and the HashiCorp Stack

  • Experience with APM tooling, Datadog, AppD, DynaTrace, Prometheus, ELK

  • Working knowledge of databases RMDBs, NoSQL, and web servers

  • Working knowledge of network routing and security, zero trust deployment model

  • Experience and/or certifications in one or more of the public clouds is required

  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including the ability to effectively communicate at the CxO level, as well as architectural issues and concepts to multiple organization levels

  • Superior customer service attitude and approach to working with clients

  • Excellent communication skills with peers, clients, leadership teams, and vendors

  • Site reliability engineering a plus

  • Certifications in either Azure, GCP or AWS at the architect level.
