POSITION SUMMARY
The position will be responsible for dual roles within the organization. Approximately 70% of the effort will be in generating and closing new charter business opportunities within the Greater Pacific Northwest area. The 30% effort will support aircraft management responsibilities, sales support, customer advocacy, and leading as an industry ambassador for CLA. This role will participate in both Charter and Aircraft Management performance commissions.
As a key contributor to the charter department and aircraft management procurement of new customers, the individual owns the process of analyzing, developing through the sales process, and closing new customers.
The role is supported by the general direction of the department and team members but will require an individual focus on executing a repeatable process and being solution-oriented for prospective clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Charter Sales
Identify markets and industry verticals with high potential for Charter opportunities within the Greater Pacific Northwest region
Work with your manager to determine the SOP’s and market strategy that will increase your chances at speaking with qualified prospects
Become a power in the CRM to stay accountable, log activity, and increase efficiency throughout the sales cycle
Become proficient in our quoting tool and other software related to charter sales
Work with marketing to connect lead generation into the sales process
Outreach will include and is not limited to, meetings, cold calls, and emails
Work with the various teams within charter sales to efficiently close and nurture long term business
Uncover and help develop new initiatives designed to drive national growth and competitiveness
Other responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Aircraft Management
Coordination of events and meetings
Process adherence and improvement projects
Proactively support Aircraft Management tasks, special projects, CRM updates, and crisis management
Support Aircraft Management sales team initiatives which include document revisions/updates, proposal/budget generation, event, and marketing activities, sales meetings
Participate in further process and procedure improvements within CLA departments to improve efficiency and service level
Participate in continuous improvement
Assist in the coordination of quarterly Flight Department Meetings for managers as needed
If co-located with existing management customers, you may be requested to participate in meetings, departure greetings, special projects, and management support
Other responsibilities as requested or assigned.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Dual reporting and reviews will be conducted to ensure you have met the expectations of your roles at CLA
Activity tracking and customer engagements are the best units for measurement on both Charter and Aircraft Management sales and productivity. Expect to report on and follow the sales process within both services to ensure your productivity.
This position's success is measured by and not limited to sales revenue and account procurement over annual and quarterly periods.
360-degree feedback is expected and should occur as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of Aviation industry experience
3+ years Aircraft Management and/or Aircraft Charter sales experience
5+ years of business development experience with prospecting, cold calling, CRM-based targeting, and segmentation experience
Proven ability to maintain a territory and a track record of closing sales
Exceptional client management and service skills essential
