We have an opportunity for a Tableau Data Analyst to join our Cary, NC team. We are looking for a Tableau Data Analyst to join our team and support our efforts to become a more data-driven organization. As a Tableau Data Analyst, you will dive deep into data and make recommendations that will influence tactical decisions that we make throughout the organization, including product, sales, and marketing.

You will:

* Analyze and benchmark product and channel performance

* Analyze incentive programs and marketing performance to support strategic shifts

* Develop and maintain a standard set of reports that provide meaningful insights into the business performance

* Proactively summarizes and presents insights, implications, and actionable recommendations to BU Leader, Product, Sales, and Marketing managers

* Create data visualizations that are creative, tell a clear and compelling story, and go beyond the numbers in tabular form

* Develop interactive dashboards that internal end-users can access directly to explore and learn from data

* Collect requirements for reporting needs directly from end-users

* Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports and analytical requests as needed

* Evangelized the use of data & data-related capabilities throughout the organization

Key Qualifications:

* BS or BA degree in business, marketing, or a quantitative field of study preferred

* 5+ years of experience in similar business intelligence, business analysis, data engineering, data analysis or data visualization role

* Ability to work independently and flexibility to work effectively within a team environment

* Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task across multiple projects

* Strong communication skills including simplify complex data for non-technical end-users

* Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work with our data to make Pentair a more data-driven company

* Proficiency in Excel

* Experience designing and developing business-facing dashboards, and data visualizations on BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI (preferred)

* Preference for B2C experience consumer durables B2B and B2C experience a plus
