Dura-Line is recruiting for a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team working remotely in the Western US region. In this entry-level position, you will be responsible for promoting and growing the business with existing and assigned accounts within your territory and proactively engage with prospective customers and develop key contacts.

Bring your customer-centric mentality and engaging personality as you will work with cross-functional groups, manage manufacturing reps, resolve distribution, customer, or pricing conflicts, and build a long-lasting partnership with new and existing clients. You will collaborate with customer service on pricing and preparation of quotes, elevate key issues to plant managers, schedulers, and shippers when necessary and support sales managers on driving sales opportunities. We need a go-getter that is not afraid to proactively pick up the phone to call clients and internal teams daily and follow up on quotes, confirm pricing, ensure on-time shipment, and build a relationship and partnership.

To hit the ground running, you must have a solid technical sales or engineering background, be business-focused, and highly motivated to selling high-value products. We need a competitive and driven individual that wants to have the freedom to manage their territories and clients as they choose and strategically use their strengths to build a strategy and succeed. You must be tech and computer savvy as you will use Microsoft Excel and Salesforce daily to gather and analyze data for reporting and tracking information.

What else is needed to be successful in this role?

As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you must be a great communicator and a good listener- we do not need people who just talk product, but also listens to the customer and can understand the customer’s needs. We need a strong team player that has great project management and organizational skills as you will need to stay focused to spend time on key activities to accomplish necessary goals. As you manage your territory & ‘own your business’, we need an entrepreneurial spirited individual that is reliable and wants to feel empowered to implement best practices to build relationships and meet goals.

This role requires a technically competent person that can identify obstacles, analyze data, suggest improvements, and can quickly propose products and solutions to help solve customers’ problems. We would prefer someone with a degree in sales, engineering, marketing, business, or relevant work experience. This job requires some work experience in technical sales experience, customer service, and/or business development.
