The Mechanical Engineer will be based in Hollis, NH. In this position you will join our talented and dynamic product development team and play a critical role in creating the next generation of advanced medical technologies. The selected individual will work closely with the Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Design, User Interface, Engineering and Quality teams to develop world class medical products for our clients.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:


  • Work on an exciting variety of products ranging from home health wearables to next generation therapy systems to surgical robotics.

  • Engage with clients ranging from early stage start ups to fortune 100 medical device companies.

  • Collaborate with industrial design, user interface, human factors, software, and electrical teams to produce successful product designs.

  • Lead mechanical system streams and the integration with parallel development activities.

  • Conceptualize, investigate, and develop innovative product architectures, parts, mechanisms, and assemblies.

  • Present to clients and internal teams to communicate design value, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

  • Create robust design solutions using CAD, analysis software, and lab equipment.

  • Procure, assemble, and test advanced prototypes to inform design decisions, refinements, and to demonstrate performance.

  • Document design details for manufacturing feedback and launch.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):


  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.

  • 4-7 years of product development experience.

  • Highly collaborative team attitude.

  • Ability to lead systems with a strong sense of drive and accountability.

  • Demonstrated ability to use SolidWorks and/or Creo to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases.

  • In-depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques (including plastic part design, metal fabrication, and extrusions).

  • Ability to quickly ramp up on, assess, and resolve diverse product challenges.

  • Versatility and high levels of technical comprehension.

  • Proven creative capacity as evidenced by the ability to invent, conceptualize, and abstract.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:


  • CAD advanced surfacing.

  • Electromechanical product experience.

  • Medical device experience.

  • Engineering simulation software (FEA, CFD, etc.).

  • Design of experiments

  • One or more of: Fluidic systems, robotics, catheters, materials, optics, prototype coding, sensor integration
