Infection Control RN reports directly to the Director of Quality while working side by side with other Infection Control RN's, Case Managers, and members of the Quality department. Stationed across all units to ensure there is a seize to any infectious agents, bacteria, or viruses, the RN will meet with staff members to regulate safety guidelines. The knowledge of health risks, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regulations, and The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), is crucial to be considered for this opportunity. This Infection Control RN will be meeting with the Antibiotic Stewardship Program to prevent these Healthcare-associated infections. 

Duties for the Infection Control RN including, but aren't stopped at:

• Gathering data to determine and prevent infectious disease in the facility


• Meet with department staff consistently to ensure safety measure are met


• Bring infection rates down being sure they do not rise


• Enforcing CDC regulations for both staff and patient safety


• Working with outside sources to determine treatment plans
