Job Description:

The Line Leader delivers on the day-to-day commitments to our customer, our company and our people.
Key Responsibilities

Read and understand the Crescent Way.
Ensure the production line operates safely.
Optimize the production line team and equipment to operate at maximum efficiency.
Responsible to prioritize and schedule each hour of the shift, to maximize the output of the production line.
Continually minimize the number of deviations.
Operate a well-staged and trash free production line.
Train the production line people and monitor their performance, adjusting their task and position on the line, to maximize the production line work flow.
Recognize and motivate talented line workers to become fulltime members of the Crescent team.
Proactively stage the daily workflow and line change overs.
Accurately track the integrity of all products from staging to finished product in Pack Manager.
Champion the Crescent Culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe and Doing Well and abide by all written and understood procedures and policies.
All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to the identification and training of an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence.
