Job Description:

Responsibilities:Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the root cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
Able to execute complex maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle and associated electronic control equipment. Fluent with electronic testing equipment.
Mentor other mechanics and operators in the diagnosis and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical controls, PLC controllers, switching and motor controls
Documents work performed with the use of mobile device and computerized maintenance management system. Records work performed in legible notes, completes procedure steps as required, logs time on job accurately.
Follows direct of supervisor. Communicates well with all team members and client.
Complies with departmental policy for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Performing emergency repairs as needed.
Requirements:Education - High school diploma or state equivalent required, minimum of five years of related trade schooling or two years of college or equivalent.
Experience Minimum of 10 years experience in building system HVAC / refrigeration.
Personal characteristics - Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports and has excellent customer service skills.
Required Universal refrigeration certification
Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes. Familiar with computer equipment and programs.
For internal candidates, must consistently receive a meets expectations job performance review.
Visually inspect machinery and buildings. Ability to detect emergency alarms auditory and / or visual.
Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for repairs, inspections and emergency procedures.
