May coach and assist in training of less experienced employees. Prepares and compiles data for income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports for a large plant or business unit. Maintains, reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records to support close process. Reviews account reconciliations of other staff members. May perform some complex cost accounting and/or fixed asset accounting activities such as cost analysis, inventory and cycle counts, etc. Performs tasks in accordance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies. May coach and assist in training of less experienced employees.Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 3 years. Accounting Certification Preferred (ex. CPA, ACA).
