Position Title:  Inside Sales Representative - 3N           


 


Position Summary


The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for securing qualified leads and appointments for the fiber sales organization through the execution of outbound calling campaigns / programs.  The Inside Sales  Representative is responsible for prospecting and generating a strong funnel of revenue opportunities. Experience in the Information Technology/Telecommunications sector or related fields is a requirement and the incumbent should to be familiar with a variety of the Networking concepts, practices, and procedures.


 


Essential Job Functions



  • Perform outbound calling activities highlighting Crown Castle's Value Proposition

  • Secure qualified appointments for outside fiber sales

  • Achieve Monthly appointment setting targets

  • Forge strong relationships with field representatives

  • Develop strong relationships with decision makers and influencers within accounts

  • Maintain account information in CRM system

  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

 


Education/Certifications



  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

 


Experience/Minimum Requirements



  • One (1)+ years’ experience selling telecommunications or related services 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

 


Other Skills/Abilities



  • Strong prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Requires a professional demeanor with strong communication skills – verbal and written

  • Self-motivated team player

  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, IP and Networking technology (desired)

  • Knowledge of facilities-based fiber business within our footprint (desired)

Reports to: Manager Inside Sales
