The job:
We are looking for a Social Media Manager. This role is critical to implementing overall social strategy to ensure we are fulfilling our mission and supporting business goals. In this role, you will both set the strategy and execute on the plan.

The Ideal Candidate
- You're a mean copy writer - you're comfortable whipping up chuckle-worthy IG captions, and would be comfortable penning a newsletter intro or an email marketing template
- You understand how social strategy ladders up to a holistic content strategy, and how the two interact
- You're a data nut, you're able to digest analytics and craft best-in-class plans based off these insights
- You're a self-starter who knows how to delegate to adjacent teams. You know how to communicate your vision from designs for Instagram stories to explaining takeaways from Google Analytics to stakeholders within the company
- You're a strong multi-tasker, you know how to juggle multiple projects at different phases of production

You will:
- Lead development and implementation of an effective social media strategy for MyLife.
- Leverage all relevant social platforms to maximize reach in addition to fostering new partners and communities to build brand loyalty, in-app sessions, and social engagement across platforms.
- Work very closely with editorial staff, art, video and marketing team and leverage analytics to reach KPIs.
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize organic social activity and act as social media industry expert within the company.
- Ideate and manage the social strategy as part of the larger vision for the brand, working closely with senior leadership in order to further elevate the brand.
- Schedule and craft social posts across channels.
- Host social-first activations, and provide social integration pitches and ideas for potential sponsorship opportunities and revenue-growth opportunities, and execute sold programs.
- Pitch in to craft blogs, marketing and lifecycle emails.

You have:
- Minimum five years in a digital media or social media environment.
- Extensive understanding of social media platforms and social analytics tools
- Demonstrated track record of growing and engaging audience through social
- In-depth working knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios. Candidate should demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and shift gears quickly, and strong project management skills.
