Job Title: Materials Lead - Shipping
Department: Materials Management
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Location: Roseville, MN
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the leadership and direction of the shipping group as well as all finished good inventory storage, accuracy, and customer shipments. Should provide coaching, direction, and training to Material Coordinators and provide recommendations for staffing levels, work times, problem resolution, and daily logistics operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Experience Oracle user with knowledge of shipping and inventory management modules
* Utilize Oracle scheduling tab to generate, schedule, and release work for the shipping group.
* Responsible for FG inventory accuracy
* Maintains accurate records and follows established procedures.
* Maintains competency in all Logistics functions.
* Maintain acceptable working relationships, attendance and punctuality.
* Effectively communicate daily with Supervisor and across functions.
* Act as a liaison to help solve issues.
* Adheres to all safety regulations.
* Demonstrates support of Dover's core values.
* Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Essential Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Leads and coaches other Material Coordinators and directs daily duties..
* Provide input into contractor hiring, employee roll over, and employee performance.
Required Job Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Three plus years of ERP experience
* One plus year Oracle experience
* Supervisor/lead experience
* Good organizational skills.
* Ability to provide work direction to Material Coordinators
* Ability to provide effective feedback to Supervisor
* Ability to communicate, problem solve and work effectively within and outside of department.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Three plus years of shipping experience
* Shipping software skills (i.e. UPS WorldShip, FedEx Manager)
