DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Centers of Excellence include the HeartCare Institute, offering invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss, the Transplant Program and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Functions as a member of patient care team in providing competent care to patients according to their individual needs. Coordinates patient care and delegates responsibilities to team members within their scope of practice and competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience in area of specialty preferred.

LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION/ REGISTRATION:

* Valid California RN license.

* Current BCLS certification.

* National RN Certification preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Computer literate.

* Competencies reflected by valid California RN license and validated during preceptor/orientation process.
