Job Description:

Technical Assistance and Production Services (TAPS) Mission:
To support all areas of Software Development and provide Experian Global Operation Center and business units with verified and accurate information to coordinate production implementations. Support production processes across all platforms by providing the tools to ensure accurate and complete processing across all platforms. Develop and modify production components that meet Data Center criteria & adhere to established standards.

TAPS Analyst main tasks:

• Scheduling new job applications, maintaining and updating existing application in Mainframe PROD/UAT environments using Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Z/OS tool (TWS/OPC)
• Participate / provide input to the system design phase of new projects. Advise the business units of Data Center requirements and standards.
• Create new and modify existing production batch processing components and supporting documentation.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of production documentation for mainframe and distributed systems. Maintain batch workload documentation (RUN Docs) in CCONCALL repository
• Identify and resolve problems prior to production batch implementations.
• Work in collaboration with Project Management, Configuration Management and Software Development to ensure production moves are implemented in a timely manner. This is accomplished through participation in the project scheduling and weekly update process.
• Create new job streams, maintain and update the existing jobs or job streams in UNIX PROD/UAT environment using IBM Workload Scheduler for Dynamic workload Console
• Support BU to achieve their deadline to meet the SLA. Such as new setup for Online Notification Service, Business Implementation Collection Trigger, Collection Advantage.
• Maintain automated escalation failure batch jobs using OPSMVS tool, auto page thru X-Matters, outlook distribution list to send notification, auto assign Incident ticket to Service Now group.
• Connect Direct S/W to transfer files between mainframe different subsystem, and midrange computers.
• Create Endevor package to move the JCL/PROC/CNTL/CLIST elements to PRODUCTION library in all the subsystems.
• Support Control D
• Check iTrig tool to send the First Day file for ONS/CT, new setup or update the jobs.
• Verify the efficiency and integrity of components listed on production move/change requests for mainframe and distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Z/OS tool (TWS/OPC)
• Strong knowledge of Mainframe (ISPF, TSO)
• Strong knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL)
• Knowledge of Connect Direct/FTP file transfer protocols
• Good knowledge of Endevor change management tool
• Knowledge of REXX scripting language
• Knowledge of OPSMVS (automated escalations of failed batch jobs)
• Knowledge 'iTrig' tool is a plus
• Microsoft Office suite
• Good knowledge of Service Now
• Good leadership & analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong inter-personal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills, ability to self-lead through major projects
• Ability to support rotating duties for ONCALL (24x7 support)
• Strong knowledge of Experian applications and Global Business structures (Consumer Services, Credit Services, Decision Analytics, Marketing Services)
