Description
Assists
in the production of quality parts by scheduling production that converts customer
orders into finished products on
a timely basis. In addition, the incumbent will perform Cycle
Counting to ensure inventory accuracy, as well as to manage production
capacity.

Develop and communicate monthly, weekly and daily manufacturing schedule to ensure 100% on time delivery of customers' demand.

- Manage details of production schedule to maximize productivity of manufacturing and shipping departments.

- Resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize customer requirements.

- Manage inventory levels of finished goods to minimize costs and maximize cash flow while satisfying customer requirements.

- Design, establish and manage appropriate strategies, business tools, processes and systems for effective and efficient demand planning, production planning and control, material requirements planning and inventory management and shop floor control

- Lead production planning meetings to ensure seamless communication between all functional areas.

- Design and implement information systems (with IT support) to optimize supply chain planning and management control.

- Work with suppliers / customers to develop supplier delivery schedules and manage materials delivery to ensure key materials are available to meet production requirements.

- A four year degree preferably in Supply Chain Management

- At least three years of previous experience in scheduling production in a manufacturing environment

- Experience developing Bills of Materials

- Strong proficiency in using ERP systems and Excel

APICS certification a plus
