About the Role:

As the Platform Systems Analyst- API & UX, you will be responsible for driving and developing end-to-end product strategy for the API & UX platforms and products, while ensuring timely delivery of features and functionality.

This Platform Systems Analyst will also be responsible for synthesizing functional and technical requirements from the product and engineering teams into prioritized user stories, approving features that are in alignment with agreed upon acceptance criteria, and providing feedback to the team with a strong decision-making mindset. You will drive product delivery from inception until the solution enters production while also participating in standard Scrum activities including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Once Here You Will :

• Become a subject matter expert in the bank's technology platform and develop an understanding of the needs of your engineering team


• Understand the goals of the technology product / platform and incorporate into the planning for technical backlogs, providing prioritization and sequencing to maximize business value


• Communicate the product vision and goals at the beginning of every product increment and development sprint


• Compose user stories for implementation, including acceptance criteria and suggestions for testing


• Provide prioritized stories from the product backlog to the agile teams and participate in team planning meetings


• Provide advice, clarification, and guidance during the execution of each development sprint


• Diligently inspect and then accept or reject completed work from the development sprint


• Serve as a leader to the delivery team including engineers, designers and other key stakeholders


• Establish and monitor key metrics that ensure timely delivery and deployment of planned product increments. Create a baseline and develop plans for any under-performing metrics.


• Be a trusted advisor across the enterprise to provide expert advice and guidance on any matters related to the technology product or platform that you own

Qualifications

• Experience using JIRA and AGILE methodology. Familiarity with SCRUM and SDLC processes a plus.


• Experience working in the Financial and FinTech Industry, Consumer banking.


• Background with Credit, Payments, API's, Services, and Integrations is strongly desired


• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment


• Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills to gather, organize, share, and rally multiple groups around an objective


• Passion for problem solving, driving innovation, and bringing new solutions to life


• Working knowledge of standard lending processes & procedures is Stay on top of the latest technology trends and are up for the challenge of bringing new technologies to a conservative industry.


• Understanding of key API concepts such as API Design, API Management, Developer Portals, Hybrid architecture, API development lifecycle, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD), source code management (SCM), test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD), and Everything as Code (EaC), including infrastructure, documentation, compliance, etc.
