The Accounting Assistant provides financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts and preparing reports. They will assists with accounts payable, contract services, rents and leases and utilities, to ensure accuracy at month end close. Assist accounting supervisor with additional duties as assigned. Prints and prepares reporting books for Division Controller and CFO as well as supporting documentation for MOR's, Budgets, etc. They will verifies the accuracy of vendor accounts payable invoices for hospital purchases according to established standards of practice and within specified time frames. And performs other administrative and analytical duties such as compiling information and documentation for audits, legal issues, and/or special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelors Degree and/or CPA exam eligibility preferred

Minimum 0-2 years experienceCritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
