The primary responsibility of this position will be to support all CPO sales channels and product teams by preparing pricing and opportunity specific financial analysis to facilitate, as well as the execution and implementation of that pricing into the various channels.  Additionally, this position will be accountable for reporting and explaining to internal constituents the outcome of the various pricing scenarios implemented and helping in the development of guidelines and processes for pricing actions to achieve CPO’s revenue and margin growth goals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task, take ownership of projects from start to finish, prioritize workload effectively and adapt appropriately to a dynamic business environment. The position works cross functionally with the merchandising and channel teams to manage CPO’s product and promotional pricing exectuion in all channels.  The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, work well with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate to all internal and external stakeholders while meeting the needs of our customers.

Major Responsibilities


  • Responsible for analyzing data and generating reports, reviews and interpret data utilized for actionable results.

  • Provide analysis of external market and competitive pricing data, to identify trends and propose enhancements to the programs.


  • Recommend improvement processes and identify business opportunities via planning and analysis work.

  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts in the pricing processes and tools used in planning, executing, reporting and analysis activities. Standardizes processes using best practices.

  • Researches and resolves escalated customer inquiries related to pricing policies and process

  • Collaborates and partners with the business leaders to ensure the needs of the customer are met.

  • Identifies revenue and margin opportunities and executes processes geared towards optimizing any overlooked opportunities.

  • Executes and advances various components of promotional and channel-specific strategies.

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.

  • Coordinates the involvement of other departmental personnel, including support, tech and management resources, in order to ensure business metrics and performance standards are met.

  • Manages potential channel conflicts and escalations by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules.

  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end-users needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.

  • Utilizing a variety of reporting tools and software, develops queries to generate reports and/or gather data from multiple sources. Focuses on user needs in defining data requirements and retrieving accurate information/reporting requirements from start to finish to minimize future revisions.

  • Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and report presentation.

  • Ensures that reports generated meet department standards for accuracy, timeliness and consistency. Develops and implements coding to ensure ongoing creation of reports as needed.

  • Audits data and reports produced to ensure accuracy and consistency. Determines and implements methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reports.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge Required


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Comfortable preparing and presenting Management information presentations


  • Ability to interface with multiple users across various departments and functional areas

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Access and other Office applications required

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel specifically PIVOTS, VLOOKUPs, etc.

  • Solid understanding of the eCommerce and/or retail business overall.

  • Ability to think creatively and propose new ideas and solutions

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills needed

Education and Experience


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted

  • Minimum 5 years related experience providing analytics, preferably in pricing or finance capacity or supporting a B2C / Retail sales environment
