ASIC Design Engineer - New College Grad at Nvidia Corporation in Westford, Massachusetts

Job Description:

We are now looking for an ASIC Design Engineer.

As a member of our digital logic interconnect design team, you will be responsible for implementing logic for our next-generation GPU's which enables high-performance interconnect of multi-GPU systems. Tasks will include micro-architectural definition, RTL coding, logic debug, timing closure, power optimization and verification support. The ideal candidate will be familiar with high-performance system oriented networking protocols and architectures.

What you'll be doing:

• Own a portion of the logic design for GPU interconnect
  
  


• Write readable high-performance, area and power efficient RTL to achieve design targets
  
  


• Unit-level synthesis, including area, timing and power analysis
  
  


• Partner with our Physical Design team on partitioning, floorplanning and timing closure​
  
  


• Provide design documentation, Triage and debug functional and performance bugs, Integration and Infrastructure support and development​
  
  

What we need to see: 

• You are pursuing a Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering or computer science or related field
  
  


• Exposure working in high-performance design such as CPU/GPU, FPGA or Interconnects
  
  


• Verilog coding experience
  
  


• In-depth understanding of physical design and VLSI
  
  


• Strong collaboration and communication skills
  
  


• Previous experience in networking and/or system interface protocols is a plus
