Senior Software Engineer, TensorRT for Safe Autonomous Driving

Do you love writing robust software? The TensorRT team at NVIDIA is looking for motivated software engineers to build production-quality software for autonomous driving. If you are excited about well-crafted design and rigorous testing, we'd love to talk to you about working on one of the biggest challenges facing autonomous vehicles today: safety.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and developing deep learning inference software for self-driving cars, mostly in C++
  
  


• Systematically reasoning about test plans from unit to integration level
  
  


• Documenting, often with mathematical rigor, the properties of functions, classes, etc, to improve robustness
  
  


• Refining and refactoring existing code to meet high standards for safety
  
  


• Designing and developing new features for TensorRT for our automotive customers
  
  


• Collaborating across the company on our full stack solutions for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist Systems), self-driving cars, and robotics
  
  

What we need to see:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or EECS with 5 years of software engineering experience or a Masters Degree and 2 years of software development experience, ideally in safety-critical applications or equivalent experience
  
  


• Excellent programming skills using a language like C/C++
  
  


• Experience designing, developing, and shipping production-quality software
  
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Designing and developing software for safety-critical applications like automotive, aerospace, robotics, or healthcare
  
  


• Safety standards like ISO 26262, DO-178B, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, IEC 29119, EN 50128
  
  


• ASPICE-compliant development processes, or similar
  
  


• Coding standards like AUTOSAR, MISRA C/C++, CERT C++, HIC++, JSF C++, etc
  
  


• Embedded systems and RTOS
  
  


• Exposure to or experience with:
